What we saw in the weeks that followed reinforced something we already believed — that the best residents come through the people who are already living here. The referrals we received weren’t just warm leads. They were people vouched for by residents who genuinely wanted their friends and family nearby. That matters to us, and it shows in the quality of the community we’re building in Lytle and Pleasanton.
A program that works this well doesn’t need an expiration date. So we’re dropping it.
What’s Changing
One thing: the end date is gone. Everything else stays exactly the same.
- Still $100 off your rent — applied as a credit to your TenantCloud account after your referral signs and pays their first full month.
- Still no limit on referrals — refer as many people as you want. Each qualifying referral earns another $100 credit.
- Still the same simple process — fill out the form at /referrals before your referral applies, and we handle the rest.
- No deadline — submit a referral today, next month, or next year. The program is open as long as you’re a resident.

A Quick Reminder of How It Works
For anyone who missed the original announcement, here’s the short version:
- Step 1 — Submit the form at /referrals with your info and your referral’s contact details. The form must be submitted before they apply — not after.
- Step 2 — They apply and sign a lease at any EWG property in Lytle or Pleasanton.
- Step 3 — You get $100 off after they pay their first full month’s rent. The credit appears directly in your TenantCloud balance — no checks, no chasing anyone down.
To qualify, you need to be a current EWG Properties resident in good standing with an active lease at the time of submission. Your referral must be new to EWG — not a current or former tenant. And the referral form needs to be submitted through the official page, not informally by phone or email.
