How It Works
The referral program is straightforward. Three steps, no paperwork beyond a quick form.
Submit a referral
Fill out the referral form at /referrals with your name and your referral's name and contact info. That's it — we take it from there.
They apply and sign a lease
Your referral applies for an available unit. Once they're approved and sign a new lease, you're eligible for the credit.
You get $100 off your rent
After your referral pays their first full month's rent, a $100 credit is applied to your next month's balance in TenantCloud. No check to cash, no hoops to jump through.
Who's Eligible
To qualify for the referral credit, a few conditions need to be met:
- You must be a current EWG Properties resident in good standing — meaning your rent is current and your lease is active.
- Your referral must be someone new to EWG — not a current or former tenant.
- Your referral must sign a new lease and complete their first full month of rent payment.
- The referral must be submitted through the referral form before your referral applies — not after.
💰 No limit on referrals. Refer as many people as you want. Each qualifying referral earns you another $100 off — there's no cap.
How the Credit Gets Applied
Once your referral's first full month of rent clears, we apply the $100 credit directly to your TenantCloud account. You'll see it reflected as a balance reduction on your next payment — no action required on your end. Frequently Asked Questions
Can I refer more than one person at a time?
Yes. You can submit multiple referrals and earn a credit for each one that qualifies. Submit a separate form for each person you're referring.
What if my referral applies before I submit the form?
Unfortunately, the referral needs to be on file before your contact applies. If they've already applied, the credit can't be applied retroactively — so submit the form first.
Does my referral have to move into the same property I live in?
No. Your referral can sign a lease at any EWG Properties location in Lytle or Pleasanton — it doesn't have to be your building.
How long does it take to receive the credit?
Credits are applied after your referral pays their first full month of rent. Depending on their move-in date, this usually takes 30–60 days from when they sign their lease.
