You Already Have an Account

TenantCloud is the platform EWG Properties uses for everything: applications, leases, rent payments, maintenance requests, and documents. When you applied for your unit, you created a TenantCloud account using your email address and a password you set.

That account doesn’t go away after you sign your lease — it becomes your tenant portal. So the first thing to know is that you don’t need to create anything new. You just need to download the app and sign in with what you already have.

Not sure what email you used? Search your inbox for an email from TenantCloud — it’ll be from when you first applied. That’s the address tied to your account.

Step 1 — Download the App

TenantCloud has a free app for both iPhone and Android. Tap the link for your phone below:

Once the app is installed, open it and tap Sign In — not “Create Account.” You already have an account; you just need to get into it.

Step 2 — Sign In to Your Account

1
Open the app and tap Sign In

On the welcome screen, tap Sign In. Do not tap “Create Account” — that would start a brand new account that isn’t connected to your lease.

2
Enter your application email and password

Use the same email and password you set up when you submitted your application. If you’re unsure which email you used, search your inbox for “TenantCloud” — the confirmation email from your application will have the address.

3
Forgot your password?

Tap Forgot Password on the sign-in screen. TenantCloud will send a reset link to your email. Check your spam folder if it doesn’t show up within a couple of minutes.

4
You’re in

Once signed in, you’ll land on your dashboard where you can see your current balance, upcoming rent due date, and any open maintenance requests. Everything is here.

How to Pay Rent

Paying rent from the app takes under two minutes once your payment method is saved.

1
Tap “Pay Rent” or “Payments” from the dashboard

Your current balance and due date are shown at the top. You’ll see any outstanding invoices listed here.

2
Add your payment method

The first time, you’ll need to add a bank account (ACH) or card. Paying by bank account is free. Credit and debit cards may carry a small convenience fee charged by TenantCloud — the exact amount is shown before you confirm.

3
Select the invoice and tap Pay

Confirm the amount and tap Pay Now. You’ll get an on-screen confirmation and a receipt emailed to you. The payment appears in your history immediately.

Set up AutoPay once and forget it. From the Payments section, you can enable AutoPay so rent is pulled automatically on its due date each month. No manual action needed, no risk of forgetting. Highly recommended if you’re using a bank account.

How to Submit a Maintenance Request

If something in your unit needs attention, submit a request through the app instead of calling. It creates a written record, lets you attach a photo, and you can track the status without having to follow up.

1
Tap “Maintenance” from the home screen

You’ll see any existing requests you’ve submitted and their current status.

2
Tap “New Request”

Select a category — Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Appliances, etc. Pick the one that best fits the issue.

3
Describe the issue and attach a photo

Be as specific as you can — “kitchen faucet dripping constantly from the hot side” is more useful than “faucet problem.” Attaching a photo speeds things up significantly.

4
Submit and track

Once submitted, you’ll get a confirmation. Check back on the Maintenance screen anytime to see the status update as we work on it. You’ll also get a push notification when there’s movement on your request.

Emergency? The app is great for non-urgent requests, but if you have a maintenance emergency — no heat in winter, flooding, gas smell, electrical hazard — call or text us directly at (210) 698-6900 so we can respond immediately.

How to View Your Lease and Documents

Your lease, any addenda, and move-in inspection forms are all stored in your TenantCloud account. You’ll never need to dig through email to find a document again.

1
Tap “Leases” or “Documents” from the home screen

Your active lease is listed here. Tap it to open the full document on your screen.

2
Download or share if needed

From the document view, you can download a PDF copy or share it. Useful if you ever need to show proof of residency for insurance, utilities, or a new employer.

3
Check payment history anytime

The Payments section keeps a running record of every rent payment you’ve made. Receipts are also emailed to you each time, but the in-app history is the easiest place to pull a summary if you ever need it.

Turn On Notifications

When you first open the app, allow push notifications when prompted. This is worth doing. TenantCloud will alert you when:

  • Your rent invoice is ready (a few days before it’s due)
  • A payment is confirmed
  • Your maintenance request status changes
  • You have a new message from EWG Properties

If you declined notifications when you first installed the app, you can re-enable them in your phone’s Settings under Notifications → TenantCloud.

Can’t Get In? Here’s What to Try

  • Wrong email — Search your inbox for any email from TenantCloud (including spam). The address on that email is the one attached to your account.
  • Forgot password — Tap “Forgot Password” on the sign-in screen. A reset link goes to your account email.
  • Password reset email not arriving — Check your spam folder. Some email providers flag TenantCloud messages. Mark it as “not spam” and you’ll get future emails reliably.
  • TenantCloud support — Call TenantCloud directly at (737) 300-9331 or email support@tenantcloud.com. Available Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST.
  • Still need help? — Call or text us at (210) 698-6900 or email info@eastwestgroup.io and we’ll get you sorted out.
